Hans Rosling is professor of International Health at Karolinska Institutet, the medical university in Stockholm, Sweden. He is a member of the International Group of the Swedish Academy of Science and of the Global Agenda Network of the World Economic Forum in Switzerland, and his 20 years of research on global health makes him one of the world’s leading experts on the links between economy and health.
Among his many accomplishments, he has been adviser to the World Health Organization and UNICEF, he co-founded Médecines sans Frontiers in Sweden and he published a textbook on Global Health.
